We're a mother-daughter duo who's fallen head over heels for fiber arts.
Maderia first picked up tunisian crocheting in 2018 to help with anxiety, and she's been hooked ever since. Now she's all about knitting, crocheting (both classic and tunisian), weaving, fabric dyeing, and even embroidery and cross stitch.
Anita has always been a sewing whiz, making clothes for her kids and taking on creative sewing projects for Maderia and her friends, from Halloween costumes to fancy dresses.
Together, they took a weaving class at their local yarn shop, and the fiber bug bit hard. These days, Maderia handles the canvas ice-dyeing while Anita weaves the panels that make their unique bags and accessories.
Recently, they left bustling Los Angeles behind and now live on a quiet piece of land in Modoc County, California.
Everything is crafted by hand in their cozy home studio, resulting in one-of-kind bags and accessories.
